The wonderful process of surrogacy and the surrogates who choose to take part in it are directly responsible for countless happy ending. Our Approach to Surrogate Screening
If you would like to explore the opportunity of becoming a surrogate, find the minimum criteria CheQKmate considers important for becoming a surrogate
- Should be between 25 to 35 years of age
- Can be a known or an unknown person
- Can be a relative and should preferably belong to the same generation
- Should have at least one baby of her own
- Should have had uncomplicated pregnancies and deliveries
- BMI between 19 – 35
- Should give an honest medical history
- Must be HIV negative just before embryo transfer
- Be willing to refrain from alcohol throughout pregnancy
- Have the support of spouse (when applicable)
- Provide a written certificate regarding use of drugs / blood transfusion / extra marital relationship
- Should not act as a surrogate more than thrice in her lifetime
If you meet the above criteria, we would like you to fill up an application form and answer the provided questionnaire. Once you've completed the application form and have satisfactorily answered the questionnaire, you'll be added to our surrogate databank.

Your Surrogacy Journey
You'll be provided with the profile of the intended parents for you to be able to make a choice. Once you've been assigned to be a surrogate for the specific intended parents, your medical cycle will begin. The treatment plan will comprise of
- Synchronisation of your and the intended parent's menstrual cycle by use of oral contraceptives
- Following your period, you'll be started on medicines for the growth of your uterine lining
- Two to three days following the egg retrieval of the genetic mother/egg donor, embryos will be transferred into your uterus
- Luteal phase support will be given
- Pregnancy test after twelve days of embryo transfer
- Once the pregnancy test turns out to be positive, you'll be scheduled for the required check-ups including ultrasound / blood tests
- Ensure safe and smooth delivery
