Embracing the Scar
Sometimes the emotional scar of infertility can be overcome by the scar of fertility enhancing surgery. The role of surgery in fertility ranges from diagnosis to treatment; in males as well as females. Keyhole surgery has changed the face of fertility problems which can be tackled surgically without any medical fertility treatment.

In females, fertility surgery usually involves use of laparoscopy and/or hysteroscopy. The most common procedures performed are as follows, but the list is not exhaustive –

- Ovarian Drilling (in case of PCO)
- Removal of Fibroids
